For me, massage is a thrilling exploration into the anatomy of the human body, where I have developed an understanding of muscle function and dysfunction, and have the opportunity to provide an environment where the miraculous human body can repair and thrive.
Massage also offers a place where the mind can find quiet and stillness; a reprieve from daily demands, burdens and anxieties. It’s here where we are allowed to pause and reflect.
What a privilage it is to serve in this way!
Where did you take your massage therapy training? How long have you been a therapist?
Hi Molly,
Thanks for the question, sorry that I didn’t see it until now. I have been an MT since 2000, and was trained at the Minneapolis School of Massage and Bodywork- took Neuromuscular Therapy I-Spinal Muscles and Neuromuscular Therapy IV-Cranium/Core Muscles through the NMT center and various training MN Center for Shiatsu and Boynton at the U of M. Are you a massage therapist?
